Homexperia Technologies Private Limited ("Homexperia", "we", "our", or "us") provides product visualization technology that enables customers of participating online stores to visualize products, including rugs and other home décor products, in their own room before making a purchase.

This Privacy Policy explains how Homexperia handles information when you use the Homexperia visualization experience on a participating Shopify store.

We are committed to minimizing the collection and retention of information and to using information only for providing, maintaining, securing, and improving the Homexperia service.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Room Images Uploaded by Customers

Homexperia allows customers to upload an image of their room to visualize selected products in their space.

The room image is used solely to provide the visualization experience.

Under our current technology implementation:

• The customer may upload a room image directly through the Homexperia visualization experience.
• The room image is retained only for the duration of the active visualization session.
• The room image is not permanently stored by Homexperia.
• The room image is not currently transmitted to or stored on Homexperia's servers.
• The room image is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or identifying the customer.
• Homexperia does not sell, rent, or otherwise commercially distribute uploaded room images.
• When the applicable visualization session ends, the room image is no longer retained by the visualization experience.
• When a customer proceeds to the participating merchant's website through the "Add to Cart" functionality, the visualization session may end and the room image will no longer be retained by the visualization experience.

The exact duration of a visualization session may depend on the customer's browser, the participating merchant's implementation, and technical session behavior.

Homexperia does not currently use customer-uploaded room images to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

If Homexperia changes its technical architecture in the future so that room images need to be transmitted to or processed by Homexperia's servers or third-party service providers, Homexperia will update this Privacy Policy and implement any legally required notices or consent mechanisms before or when such processing begins.

2. Product Information

Homexperia integrates with participating Shopify merchants to provide product visualization functionality.

To provide the visualization experience, Homexperia may access product information available from the participating merchant's Shopify store, including:

• Product images
• Product titles
• Product descriptions
• Product variants
• Product identifiers
• Product URLs
• Other product information necessary to provide the visualization functionality

This information is obtained directly from the participating merchant's Shopify store or through Shopify APIs, as applicable.

Homexperia uses this information to display and visualize the merchant's products within the Homexperia experience.

Homexperia does not use a merchant's product information for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Personal Information

The Homexperia visualization experience does not require customers to create a Homexperia account or provide personal contact information.

Homexperia does not intentionally collect or store customer information such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Postal address
• Payment information
• Shopify customer account credentials

Homexperia does not intentionally collect or store personal customer information through the visualization functionality.

If a customer chooses to purchase a product, the customer is directed to the participating merchant's Shopify storefront, where the merchant and Shopify handle the applicable shopping, checkout, payment, and order processes.

4. Analytics

Homexperia may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the visualization experience and to improve the service.

Analytics may provide information relating to:

• Number of visits and sessions
• General user flow through the visualization experience

The participating Shopify merchant may independently use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, advertising technologies, or other tracking technologies on its storefront. Such technologies are governed by the merchant's own privacy policy and applicable consent settings.

6. How We Use Information

Homexperia uses information processed through its service only for purposes reasonably connected with providing and improving the Homexperia experience, including:

• Providing product visualization functionality
• Displaying products selected by customers
• Maintaining an active visualization session
• Connecting visualization functionality with the participating merchant's Shopify store
• Supporting the shopping journey and "Add to Cart" functionality where enabled
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Maintaining service security and performance
• Understanding feature usage through analytics
• Improving and developing Homexperia's technology

Homexperia does not sell personal information.

Homexperia does not use room images for targeted advertising or marketing.

7. Data Retention

Homexperia follows a data-minimization approach.

Customer-uploaded room images are retained only for the duration of the applicable visualization session and are not intended to be permanently stored.

When the visualization session ends, including when the customer proceeds through the applicable "Add to Cart" journey and leaves the visualization experience, the room image is no longer retained by the visualization experience.

Product information obtained from a participating Shopify store may be temporarily processed or cached where technically necessary to provide the service.

Analytics information may be retained by Google Analytics according to the retention settings configured for the applicable analytics property.

8. Shopify Data

Homexperia integrates with Shopify to provide visualization functionality to participating merchants.

Depending on the merchant's installation and configuration, Homexperia may access product-related information made available through Shopify APIs or the merchant's storefront.

Homexperia follows a data-minimization approach and accesses information reasonably necessary to provide its functionality.

Homexperia does not intentionally request or access customer personal information such as customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses, or payment information for its visualization functionality.

Shopify's own privacy policy and terms may also apply to information processed directly by Shopify.

9. Data Sharing

Homexperia does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercially distribute personal information.

Homexperia may use limited third-party technology and service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, or improve its services.

Any such processing will be limited to the purposes for which the relevant information is provided and will be subject to appropriate safeguards where applicable.

At the time this Privacy Policy is published, customer-uploaded room images are not transmitted to Homexperia's servers.

Homexperia is not responsible for the privacy practices of participating merchants, Shopify, Google, or other third-party services.

We encourage users to review the applicable privacy policies of third-party services they interact with.

12. Children's Privacy

Homexperia is not specifically directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Homexperia, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
